La Belle Endormie

Whyla Belle Endormie (Sleeping Beauty)? Because it is the nickname of the Fronsac appellation and also that of the city of Bordeaux. Formerly the most prominent appellation on the Right Bank, Fronsac is now more confidential, but appreciated by wine lovers looking for true gems.

La Belle Endormie is the great vintage of Château la Vieille Croix. We select the best plots, on which the oldest vines of the estate are planted to make this wine. After these 12 months of aging: 70% in concrete vats and 30% in new barrels, we end up with an elegant vintage, which highlights the quality of this unique terroir.
