For a second year, we have been very lucky to have our wines tasted by a true expert in the field – Yves Beck (aka Beckustator). As well as wine from our two Saint Emilion domains, Château le Conte and Château Touzinat, Yves Beck has also tasted our Château Aurore, our organic Bordeaux and our newest addition – the Instant H Cabernet Franc, the signature vintage of our winemaker, Hugues Laborde.
Hugues would like to personally thank Mr Beck for these great scores, and is delighted that his Château Aurore and Instant H pleased him as much as they did.

“Château Aurore – Un Supplément d’Âme, 5 hectare domain, organically cultivated.
Garnet red with purple glimmers. Very pleasant and fine on the nose with notes of cherry and spices. Mineral touch with chalky nuances. On the palate, the wine has body and tannins that provide perfect backbone. They are still somewhat pronounced but considering the (type of) structure, this bodes well! A friand wine, juicy and full of character – definitely one to try! 2021-2027 89-90/100”
“L’instant H Cabernet Franc. Purple colour. A very inviting nose thanks to its freshness, its floral notes and its nuances of cocoa beans. On the palate, this wine is slightly creamy and well supported by its tannins, which provide good backbone and go well with the structure. A fine and well balanced wine that can be enjoyed in its youth. 2021-2027 89-90/100”
“Château Le Conte. Garnet red with purple glimmers. Nicely intense nose which combines fruity and spicy notes with hints of blackcurrant and black pepper. Caractere friend and juicy on the palate. This wine is well supported by its tannins and has a refreshing structure. It has yet to gain in aromatic expression, maturation will certainly contribute to this. 2023-2033 87-89/100”
“Château Touzinat. Dense garnet red with violet glimmers. Nicely intense nose with fruity and spicy notes. Floral touch. Juicy character on the palate. The wine is balanced with a refreshing structure and tannins which provide good backbone. It has yet to grow in aromatic intensity but the basis is promising. 2023-2033 87-88/100”
